What I want to do is give you some songs that you can play with three chords and not just use the same three chords but use them in the same order just to make things easier. One of the most important things I try to teach students is a longer journey to learn to play guitar and practice different techniques and all this kind of stuff you have to do two things.
- Number one is trying to make it as fun and interesting as possible for you, so that every day when you want this again.
- The second is to stay inspired time and time again when we play together songs it can be fun for us and it keeps us motivated to keep going.
So what I'm doing here is I'm picking out three different songs and going to show you that they use the three d chord sing in a variety of different ways but they use the same three chords in the same order over and over again, so before I start with the song I want to show you a little bit about the chords if you don't know this is if you have some questions and if you already know these three chords, you can definitely go a little further and get into the song. So the first thing I want to talk about is some of the things we can do when we learn to play chords, for example your C chord may look a little different than my C chord or your G chord may be a little different and I don't want to worry about that because we all play it . something a little different like for example G, if we really think about it g guitar cross target g chord can be played all sorts of different ways I so I don't want to worry about whether seven ways to play it or not. G chord, I want you to focus on what you use and if you don't know the G chord I will give you some suggestions so let's start by adjusting this first chord hero so that the d chord is played by strumming the bottom four strings, which we have to do is to put our first finger on the third string of the second fret, we are going to put our middle finger on the first string of the second fret, we are going to put this third finger on the second string of the third fret and plucked down you strum too much, don't worry about that you just trying to get to the bottom for targeting, for now look is the strings which when it comes up sometimes people play it differently, standard views are generally taught like this and this is fine nothing wrong with this chair you can put your first finger on the second finger of the first fret you can put your middle finger on the fourth string of the second fret ua and your third finger on the fifth string of the third fret and then you will strum the bottom five strings.
