Byron Bay Bluesfest [CANCELED] - BLUESFEST 2021 RESCHEDULED DATES!

Byron Bay Blues Festival is Australia's premier contemporary blues and roots music festival, with many international artists participating during the Easter long weekend. The fan base of more than 100,000 festivals enjoyed more than 200 performances and family entertainment in five days.

Who would have thought that due to a local broadcast incident that occurred less than 24 hours before we opened the door, we cancelled the public health order in April, which shocked our industry and traumatized all those who participated in the demonstration? Bluesfest...just six weeks later, we will announce the rescheduled music festival, and a week later, today, we will announce the complete lineup of our absolute best Australian artists. In October of this year, Bluesfest will be the first major festival to return since COVID-October 19. A multi-day and multi-stage camping event will be held. Almost all artists performing this Easter will perform again. We are happy to announce that MIDNIGHT OIL has agreed to join our Australian lineup and release with their new album at the opening ceremony on Friday night. This is a dream come true. PAUL KELLY will make headlines with TASH SULTANA on Saturday night... Of course, JIMMY BARNES will return to the headlines on Sunday night. We have shown the determination to overcome everything and have to face rescheduling, because we know that as an integral part of the Australian music industry, many people are counting on us. As we rise from the ashes of the 2021 Easter Bluesfest, please join us in celebrating our indomitable determination to safely present live music in Australia at the major event level. Let us make history!
